It's a late one

Catching the 835p straight outta persh square.

Can you believe it? I missed Cali while home for only 5 days.
Yes I can believe it.

My cheeks are rosy.

You know when your mind can go nowhere else but there, in that moment.
And your brain is tingly and you feel if you open your eyes you may fall to the ground for you are completely overtaken with smite?
Me either. What an odd thought that is.

Home was grande.
Emotional.
Not negative. Mostly positive.
Received true closure with Grampie.
Shared laughs and tears and fears and experiences.
Had great times with old friends.
Lots of love overall.
Saw papa Dave and he is not going to last much longer.
Nancy is heartbroken and such a sweetheart.
She told me many times to not be a stranger. And I cannot fathom forgetting her. We will become closer through her struggle into her new life without her soulmate.

"shut the door, let's go" says homeboy to the left. Now across the train homies speak of train drivers texting while driving in 1997. Doesn't sound right.

Someone's got a nose-hair-curling stench to them.

Homeboy to the left just said,
"I gotta weak back!"
"How long you hada weak back?"
"About a week back!"
Lol

Yesterday was a great Sunday in North Hollywood.
Arose from a nap sometime in the late afternoon.
Emily and I bought rum, slurpees, taco bell and salsa makings.
Enjoyed our alc-induced slurpz en el techo en la sol. :)
Proceeded to make salsa and black bean burgers and had a barbecue with patrick and willy. We got P a bday cake (and crayola candles) since we forgot about his bday 4 days prior.

Yes I do believe that this place is very easy to miss. I feel totally at home.
Dare I say I missed the pigeons when I saw one on the sidewalk today? I think bb put it more accurately by saying "you missed hating on the pigeons." and yes indeed, I did. I'm sorry Cali I won't leave you for that long again until July.

Yesterday while making the final descent towards Los Angeles there was a thick bed of clouds. White, fluffy puffs of thick mallow; giant snow banks. With each foot we grew closer. It was all that could be seen besides the mountains in the distance. We approached slowly. Finally becoming level with the clouds and completely consumed by these giants. In a fleeting moment we sliced through into the reality of gray Los Angeles.
