Friday march 9th. First full week of work is coming to an end and I couldn't be happier about it. Currently on the train. There are some real characters that I encounter daily on the red line.
Typically I am a bystander and having headphones is a great way to pretend you aren't listening to people.
Thursday is the first payday ever in my LA life.
I don't mind my job. Sometimes I find myself in a moment of enjoyment.
And then my boss tells me I should be doing 3 things at once.
Yesterday was international women's day.
Emily and I celebrated by trying the new Dorito taco from taco bell, to our surprise the shell was a giant Dorito pretty much. We were expecting crumbles of Dorito IN the taco.
It was sodium delicious and made me instantly thirsty for ice cream.
Luckily we thought of that before getting home and we also picked up some baskin Robbins. Yum. Could definitely feel it this morning during my short run.
I've been trying to speed up lately while running. Trying to get down to 9 min mile.
Ive been running short distances though (about a mile) so I need to add to that.
It will be easier to accomplish once it's light out until 8 or 9.
